Ignoring my title for a moment, I'm just gonna announce that I finally bought a domain (YAY!). It's www.longlivelush.com, which I haven't decide what I'm gonna do with it yet. Of course I'll migrate this blog there when I finished customizing the wordpress. But it turns out, when you work as a website developer, building your own website doesn't seem as fun as it used to be anymore. Been postponing the work on building the site for quite some time now. Probably will waste another 1-2 month hosting. Meh. I never think things through do I?

This moment was probably the last time I cried watching a movie. And it wasn't PMS.
Yeah, I don't know why when Ewan Mcgregor said that line I always feel emotional. Even just reminiscing that moment, like right now, I feel like I wanna cry already. I mean you could definitely imagine the pain Obi-Wan has when knowing that Anakin has gone to the dark side. Well, if you watch the latest trilogy (which might be a pain, movie-wise), you'll know that Obi-Wan truly trusted Anakin right from the start, even when the council refuses the kid, He stand by him. And that last fight scene on episode III, where at first Obi-Wan didn't even try to attack Anakin, until when he had to, and Anakin fell, and he said "You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them. You were to bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness," then Anakin shouted "I hate you!", hhhhhffff.... the look on Ewan McGregor face is..... shit I'm too damn emotional. I'm gonna stop now. Next.

Lloyd Dobler -- She's gone. She gave me a pen. I gave her my heart, she gave me a pen.

I think I mentioned this quote somewhere in this blog before. The way Lloyd Dobler said that line just broke my heart everytime. Well, mostly anything that Lloyd Dobler said in Say Anything will most likely be followed by me saying "Awwwwwhhhhhhhh....". Yeah, probably this one is a bit objective, but hey, all my list has low subjectivity level now that I think about it, so I can get away with this i guess. And then, the scene where heartbroken Lloyd tried to forget the girl by hanging out with those bunch of stupid boys (including once fully haired Jeremy Piven) is probably my most favorite scene of a romantic comedy ever. Ha. Because there is nothing more adorable than broken hearted John Cusack, people!

Leland P. Fitzgerald -- You want a why. Well, maybe there isn't one. Maybe... Maybe this is just something that happened.

Good movie, nnngghh not great, but Ryan Gosling was damn amazing in this. The way Leland has this bunch of questions in his head about himself and about what he did that he didn't even know the answer to is definitely the charm of the movie.
And another thing that might sound weird, the reason this quote is in here is not just because what it meant, but also the way Leland P. Fitzgerald said it. I don't know why, I just love his narration in this whole movie. I still can recite his intonation and his voice inside my head right now. He has this monotonous and full of question intonation which at first I thought Ryan Gosling did just to portray a detached, unemotional, full of questions Leland in the movie. But it turns out, he also speaks a little bit like that in his other movie like,to name a few, in Half Nelson (which, btw, sensationally awesome!) , in Lars and a Real Girl (equally awesome), and in The Notebook (yes, girls! The world's greatest chick flick anthem ever, so called -- because I haven't seen a single girl who hated this movie. No matter how extremely cheesy this is you can't really say you hate the movie can't you?).
So probably it's not the way Leland talk but just the way Ryan Gosling talk in general, yeah, i like it a lot. Um. Is it weird? liking somebody's intonation, I meant? Probably, idc really.

Trailer is awesome as hell right? The premise is as simple as it gets, yet sounds sooo.... adorable?
Zooey Deschanel in it. And yes, she is the most likable actress today in my opinion. Not just because she acted as Trillian on H2G2 as many fanboys may've noticed, but also that she actually sing interestingly. Haloo? 'Yes Man'? Yeah, that's pretty much how she sings in real life. Isn't she interesting?
And, Joseph Gordon-Levitt also in it too, which adds the 'BADDD!!' up there in my title. Yap, that 3rd Rock kid, 10 Things I Hate About You geek, and so on. You may wonder how someone who looked like this, looks like this now? Seriously, and everybody kept saying he looks a lot like the late and very handsome Heath Ledger. He IS, actually. Probably a bit more Keanu somewhere. And.. and.. Yosuke Kubozuka might also fit the equation (might be a bit bias on this one though). But seriously, isn't that something? No kidding.
It's not like I have zillions of assignments to do. naaah,, probably more like millions? aaarggh!

Anyway, forget about all those for a moment, and go to the happy place somewhere in my self-conscious.

Three things excite me recently,,

First thing, I watched Star Trek at IMAX last weekend. Where i totally came late to and got one of those avoid-at-all-cost-front-seat, which surprisingly, turns out to be awesome! Not at all nauseating, in fact, first time watching a movie where i had to literally turned my head to see from one end of the screen to other end, haha.. love the experience!
I don't know much about all the Star Trek franchise, too old and too massive, but I know enough thanks to my trekkies brother, and I have to say, I LOVE the movie, love the whole alternate universe scenario, and totally fangirling Simon Pegg now! (yup nope, not Chris Pine.. defnitely will come back for more Simon Pegg) that bloke is freaking awesome, haha. On other note, i totally find this hilarious (huahh... I miss SNL,, someone download it for me please!)

Second thing, May 25th is TOWEL DAY! I don't know why I get too excited over this, well probably because recently i got into Douglas Adams all over again after hearing his old lecture over here. God, that guy was just a genius! Seriously listen to the podcast, or just read the transcript!
Definitely look out for my picture on d day with the most useful thing in the galaxy, towel! (which is going to be pointless, but still.. i'm kinda excited!)
Anyway, I started the Dirk Gently series. Nothing like the Hitchhiker's but still highly enjoyable!

Third thing, I started watching FRINGE, which is really awesome. Another Abrams masterpiece, and guess what? Leonard Nimoy is part of the cast, talking bout really using the Star Trek momentum, Mr.Abrams. ha! Anyway, it's a sci-fi kinda thing, which actually reminds me of X-Files. Although i'm a bit worried considering Abrams' past with TV business, you know, ALIAS? LOST? they started with a really solid conspiracy theory, but sometimes enough is enough. When a show's getting too complicated, its just not that fun anymore to have to keep track on this week bad guy, this week good guy, and this week back to alive person.
Bottomline, I definitely have high hopes for this one, seriously, anything to bring back our old time crush Pacey to our beloved TV, especially that he plays a high school drop out with an IQ of 190! I'm all in!

Notice how this post all kinda sci-fi-ish, I think May is definitely sci-fi month for me! or extend that to June, because of this! YAYYYY!! can't wait..

expectation talk frustrate me

seriously, it is. But, no matter how you want to live with no expectation, it kinda creeps back to your subconcious and telling you to want stuffs. Haahh.

To some real blog stuffs. I always want to be a blogger that writes insightful post with interesting story and slightly comical deliverance, but apparently like any other things i want to be good at, i just don't have the skill. I know, i got p-a-t-h-e-t-i-c written permanently all over my forehead, fyi. Haha, so knowing my limitations, I kinda settle to be a blogger that writes mediocre stuffs just like that other blogger the blog you vaguely remember visiting once and never ever come back. Hurts, but it's the truth. who the fuck want to stay around and read your random ramblings about random person. Why do we want our blog to be read by sranger anyway? These days, more I think about it, it's almost like people think blogging is the second best thing if you can't be a movie star (or a youtube personality). And yes, i am one of those people. Haha, cliche'd.
But blog is probably going to die soon, anyway. Microblogging crossed with socialnetworking going to rule the world at this rate, although i just can't get the hang of it yet. Got one at tumblr, or twitter if you consider one line posting is also some sort of 'blogging'.

I used to hate apple so much, remember people? But karma hit me, i am converted now. in under 4 months, i bought iPod and iPhone consecutively and i looove it. But hold that praises until android based phone strikes up, and maybe i'll convert again.
I got a part-time job! yay! Paling enggak gw dibayar untuk ngerjain sesuatu yang gw emang pengen belajar dari dulu. hehe. asyyikk~
Now that i got a job, i can actually start planning up my future japan trip. Still wondering when's the best time to go. I was thinking of going after i get my degree before (which is another two years), but it's just too long. Anticipating for something that far in the future will kill me. Or maybe like end of this year? uwaaa.. TOKIO will have their 15th anniversary this September, right? That will be ~~nice~~ awesome to see TOKIO's anniversary concert (if there's one)! But September is not even a holiday. Crap.
Other than saving up for my japan trip i am now compiling stuffs for my wish-list. What i got so far is an lcd monitor so that i won't have to stare at my small screened laptop all the time anymore, this hd media player to play my hd files that i won't afford to download under my data limit these days anyway, any leather jacket, any huge bag to carry my laptop, maybe this dvd (shit i have to restrain myself, who want the dvd when you have the actual broadcasted files already? maybe someone who love the idea of having the dvd of nagase singing accoustic, umm like me?), and.. and... oh shit, this is going to be endless, so i'm just going to stop here. I love my daily routine here, like yesterday, I wake up around 9am; Browse around on my iphone under my blanket until 11am; Waking up and have some breakfast (still under my blanket); take off to my building which is only 8 minute walk at 12pm; grab sushi for lunch; hang around while having my lunch and ~~do my assignments~~ download stuffs at the MIS study area until 6pm; go to the class from 6-9pm; got home, prepare dinner; eat dinner while watching tv or anything i download that day; and finally go to sleep while watching Letterman... Menyenangkan, really.
As if this download data limit situation doesn't strangle me enough, look at this season drama line-up. I'm gonna cry. Everything looks good, i want to watch all of em. Although this one's going to be my priority, it's Nakai in romantic comedy! with Ueto Aya and Sato Ryuta. I know, there's no arashi in it, but please let the subs come out fast.

Whoa, i got a class in a couple of minutes. I need to go, and ~~this post is linkless, so it may not make much sense but i'm gonna fix it later.~~ fixed some of it, now i'm uploading some video to youtube to prove my point.

I just hate the fact of choosing anyone or anything that i know won't make any difference anyway. But the reality is, there's always people that care enough to put their choice into a single piece of paper, walaupun dgn agenda ny masing2 (which i have no problems about, because even ghandi has his own agenda). Blame Buffy for the first phase years ago, this time it's all on Heroes!

here's the deal, I've abandon Heroes (the TV series, that is) for quite some time now, and I had tons of the episodes just sitting there on my harddrives. And apparently today, I am in the mood to distract myself from real life and my internet is almost at its limit for the month, so I settle to watch Heroes because that's the only thing in my harddrives that I haven't memorized every single scene of.

Then, when I was flipping through the episodes (yes, 'flipping through', because i abandoned it for a reason, remember?), i saw an episode with familiar faces. OMG, ISN'T THAT SETH GREEN AND BRECKIN MEYER? OMG, YES IT IS THEM! How can I not know this before. This is huge, HUUUGE!
The episode is pure dope (or more like those specific scenes make the whole episode awesome). Seriously, the first time I watch Heroes while clapping my hand retardedly in excitement. Again, Seth Green and Breckin Meyer people!! Getting excited with me here? (if not, screw you!)

FYI, it's episode 10 in season 3. Now, I am still in the middle of episode 11, they still appeared. crossing my finger hoping they'll come out more!! And they said multi-episode, so that must not mean one or two right? RIGHT?

other than missing a lot of things back home, i can't really decide whether i'm able to enjoy Melbourne for another two years or not. Well, everything's so exciting and new, but so far you can say i'm happy enough... though i have not literally fell in love with the city already, because of course it takes time to seep in all the great juices... (yeah, it's different when i first stepped into the city of SF years ago, and totally fell in love with everything about it right at that moment. huahhhhhh, still wished to live there someday *crossing finger*)

note-to-self : i need a phone plan! iphone? nyaaa, don't know. i simply refuse to fell into the conspiracy.
note-to-self (1) : find a better internet plan, until then just hold the urge to download big file (which is impossible, meh). i should've finish dl-ing kindaichi back home.
note-to-self (2) : find a good paying (less effort) part time job and save up A LOT of money for my future japanese trip.

2008 : the year that ended my 4-year hardwork, the year that i found a new exciting world, also the year that marked the start of my new dream

[it's going to be long,, so don't say i didn't warn you...]

looking back at 2008, one thing that was major in the first half of the year is SKRIPSI, my final undergraduate thesis... i remember being in constant worries of not able to finish it on time... seriously, it has taken all my mind and soul at that time.. BUT, also around the time i experienced the nightmare of skripsi, that i discovered a whole new world filed with the pleasure of distractions.. Japanese POP culture! or to be exact NAGASE TOMOYA!!!!!

i first watched Tiger & Dragon and got really hooked up with the stupid yakuza-turned-storyteller with no sense of humour sometime in 2007, but it's not until early 2008 (after Utahime phase) when distractions was like a primary needs for my mental health that i was starting to fed myself with any japanese variety shows involving that guy, NAGASE TOMOYA... i was starting to fell in love with his face, his voice, and most importantly his personalities.. yes! he is one of those fabricated idol, and you can judge me any way you can, but if you cud make an idol that is 1. handsome as hell; 2. can act, sing, and make music bearably; 3. do not act like a crappy ass idol; 4. moderately stupid at adorable times; 5. HANDSOME AS HELL!; just sign me up any time.... seriously...

well, after a while my needs for distractions not only limited to one guy.. it slowly shifted to more wider area of japanese variety shows, involving comedian duo DOWNTOWN also a few popular regular shows, but the fandom was small and limited.. so i'm back to Nagase, but my interest spread to his band TOKIO, and their fellow friends SMAP, Kinki Kids, and V6... these specific fandom are what i called mystifying.. i, myself, ~~never~~ rarely listen to the music but definitely watch their (awesome) variety shows... but, see, the variety shows kept on coming everyday of the week, so it is like they are sucking you to an endless vortex... endless distractions...

back to skripsi... thanks to the new world of distractions that i just discovered, i managed to keep myself sane while finishing skripsi... it maybe one of the hardest time i had to gone through in my life... yes! i had my life easy all this time, even making a 50-pages worth of paper is hard for me... fiuhhhh.... but just assume i had it finished at a blink of an eye, so... skripsi kelar - sidang beres - next up GRADUATING!!!

even the word 'graduating' has a deep meaning... graduating from an institution that helped me grow for 4 years; graduating from being irresponsible idiot; graduating from being with my friends; so yeah i had mixed feelings during this time... but in the end, the look on my parents eyes on the graduation day was just priceless... i guess, that was the only things that matters... aaahhhh....

GRADUATED! so what's next? i have this long sought dream, American Dream... so i did what i need to obtain it... TOEFL and then GRE... so, September, October, November, all i did was concentrated on those two exam... December, i got everything i need -- enough TOEFL score and fair GRE score... But something happened and it got me thinking, i started to straighten up my goals, straighten up what my dreams really are, then suddenly one option just appear right before my eyes... easier option, easier opportunity... I decided to take the option and the possibility that it may bring me right at the end of 2008, and at that exact moment a new dream had started... end of story...........

this is my only post this month... don't feel like posting these days... but i'll be moving to a place with way better ~~life~~ internet connections soon, so maybe i'll be a diligent blogger after that....

(yeah, i hate that he is becoming more and more of a jock these days)

last thing... he's going to host next saturday SNL... YAYY!! exci~ted.....

on other note, just saw Twilight.. never read the book, but i kinda can see what makes the book so popular.. the movie is average if i have to say... gotta go find the book(s?) now...

on other note other than that, i never been a trekkie (though my brother try all his might to convert me since i don't know when) but next year is the right time to finally be one... because if Captain Kirk was once that young and hot, then i probably am a trekkie already... Plus 'JJ Abrams as the director (or producer?)' is my more logical reason to hide my shallow I-think-the-lead-actor-is-cute reason... to the awesome trailer anyone?

last note, The Day the Earth Stood Still is something closer to wait for... Keanu + alien + world destruction is the right mix for my full enjoyment... Hollywood knows best (sometimes)...

memorizing is not my thing

well, actually i don't really have a 'thing' to begin with...

but i'm gonna stick on ranting about how i can't memorize anything even if my life depends on it,, OK... so, yeah.. i can't do it.. i know that there's supposed to be some kind of method or something to help people memorize stuffs, but seriously, my brain just cudn't (or wudn't) handle it...
well i didn't have to do it often anyway.. the last time i had to memorize stuffs was like.. ummmmmmm... see, i can't even remember...
here's the thing... in college, i don't memorize stuffs because most of em are logical, or maybe i kinda need to for long equation, but naah.. i wrote those in my palm or a piece of paper under my answer sheet.. then, as far as in highschool, its just easier to put the textbooks under the table on big tests.. (yeah, i cheat! so does everybody.. big deal!)
anyway, you may ask (or not, screw you), why am i being totally random about memorizing stuffs? it is that i have exactly NO clue on doing the oncoming GRE verbal test... see, i need to memorize hundreds of complicated words which normal earthlings won't use even once in their entire life? yeah, totally lost track of the test's points huh?
ok, so here's the genius plan... i was thinking, instead of working hard on memorizing, maybe it'll more helpful if i do something stimulating with this brain of mine?? hmm, but with what idk.. i'll just google it later then.. haha.. which side is it that stores memory anyway? hmm... idc, too lazy... meh...

the point is, i probably going to have the worst verbal score ever, like historically EVER.. so yeah, i'm stressed out right now..

last one is a tie because I couldn't decide which Molly Ringwald's movie is better.. both movies are about an average girl who somehow get the attention of a hot popular guy, added with an ~~annoying~~ adorable geek who adores the girl.. guaranteed to make you wish you were the average girl in the movies.. say it with me girls, "damn you, Molly Ringwald!"

Other than those three, there are several other movies that are worth to watch also.. Some may consider Breakfast Club is among the best.. or maybe Can't Buy Me Love, how's geeky adorable Patrick Dempsey paying a cheerleader to be his girlfriend for a movie?... or maybe Sean Penn on dope in Fast Times at Ridgemont High... or maybe more of John Cusack with The Sure Thing or Better of Dead... or.... awwhh.. how I love the decade... nuff said..

Yeah, movies that deal with simple teen issue with an adorable plot that get us hooked.. We don't get to see many of those around anymore.. well, one of the few that I consider kinda cool for a teen movie recently is Charlie Bartlett.. have you watched it? it is one underrated movie, yeah.. check the summary here, then if you're interested, just go and watch it.. worth watching.. and now, although it would be totally off-topic, i'll just show you the screencap if you don't mind,

yupp.. made a few changes on the blogs.. nuthin much, just replacing the old picture up there wit a creature i can't stop drawing lately.. and also changed my mainpage here..
thought would only took me an hour or two.. but apparently, if you make a layout without a proper css and just kept on removing and adding stuffs randomly, you'll end up with a bunch of codes that you have no idea what is for what.. so.. this took me longer than i expected... well, yeah A LOT longer... and i'm starting to feel neck pain right now... aaarggh..

yuck.. yes i did the TOEFL test like last week (and no, i haven't got the score yet, if you ask).. and if i thought after it i'm going to be free from all the burden, then apparently i wasn't thinking straight... well, i don't think straight most of the time, so what do you expect...
and yeah, seriously, i need to take GRE next (by 'take' i meant study-study-study before actually 'taking').. shoot, i should've known this is never ending.. i might even need to take GMAT also later.. whatever, first thing first...
so, yesterday i was so fire up trying to study (meaning: finally trying to open the actual prep book), but when i scanned through the book and then i saw like gazillion of new words i never even see in my entire life, my motivation go straight down to drainage.. damn... i am easy to intimidate, true.. you better believe me, because basically my whole life i let myself get intimidated by living/non-living things (not gonna write any examples though because it's embarrassing)..
OK, enough on that...

now, i'm going to rant in bullet-points.. because bullet-points make everything look organized and smart-ish (i wish)..

watched Jimmy Kimmel the other day, and how awesome does Seth Rogen look these days..? *drools* btw, his new movie promos is somewhat interesting..
i'm trying to watch more japanese movies because they're cool and unstereotypical (not all of em of course, duh).. well this and this and this and this amazed me recently.. not new movies, of course.. and this guy is so creepily disgusting that he is so fit the role in that movie.. uhm, and maybe later when my knowledge widen more from only watching movies that has to do with Kudo Kankuro and Odagiri Joe, i'll do the master post of Jmovies on my other blog....

[a thing or two about Ryusei no Kizuna]

it airs every friday for the fall season of 2008..

the script is based on a best selling japan novel (not able to find any decent links bcause most of it are in japanese, but this review maybe useful).. i couldn't care less about the book cause i never read it.. well, maybe someday, when i can really understand japanese instead of just pretending like i understood... (though the translations might be available brought to you by the fans)
the story kinda deep though.. i guess that's why it's sell so well.. three siblings which their parents got murdered brutally when they are still kids... and the story revolved to the time they already grow up and try to take revenge.. that's basically it.. but seeing three little kid witnessing their parents murdered bound to make your tears flowing out uncontrolable right?

but.. BUT (capped it to accentuate)... this drama happened to be written by Kudo Kankuro, which hands down created some of the best thing i've ever watched in my entire life.. and i'm not exaggerating... trust me..
so because it's Kudo Kankuro's, though it's kinda sad, it has its witty humorous moments.. love it..

AND (capped it again) the casts is somewhat almost perfect,
there's Ninomiya Kazunari who plays the older brother.. to be honest, my first impression of him was on Stand Up!, and in it he looked like he only able to express the emotion of 10-years-old child.. but after Letters of Iwojima he grew more and more.. Clint Eastwood sure put some spells on him somehow... and now, surprisingly he is all to the big-brother, genius-plotter, want-to-kill-his-parents'-murderer character.. and this kind of wonderful dramas should add to his resume (because last time, Yamada Taro Monogatari left an awful taste on me.. seriously, not something i want to revisit)..
the little brother played by Nishikido Ryo which for some reason is pleasant enough to fill the 45-minutes of my screen... enough said..
also Toda Erika as the little sister.. to me she seems like a girl that easy to get along and quite likeable at some point.. so i'm perfectly fine with her existence in the drama...

and the last thing to add up to the hype is that the subs came out like a super lightning (the comparison is old-fashioned, but effective).. really, i never followed a drama series with a subs that came out so fast.. the next day after it airs i cud already enjoy it.. i primely suspect that this phenomenon mainly occurred because it starred the Arashi's beloved member, Nino.. so, let's all cheer for the hardworking Arashi fans! 1.. 2.. 3.. YAYY!!

it's still episode two, so i really don't want to make early praises.. but i just hope it could live up to its high expectations... crossing my finger...

well, if you find yourself being a ~~obsessed~~ fan of the drama.. then head yourself to the LJ community.. it has some great stuffs (the greatest stuffs are mostly locked though, so go and join!).. and also isn't it nice to share something we like with others that like it too? (heeekk... i don't even know where does that last sentence came from.. must be my sub-conscious.. must be..)

I totally waste my time on this.. but whatever, i'm feeling fulfilled though.. haha..

do you know one thing i hate the most about indonesian tradition?
yepp... it's the so-called 'arisan keluarga' tradition.. to translate it in english, 'family gathering' (?)..
but i don't even think the term 'family gathering' do much justice on how much a nightmare 'arisan keluarga' can be..
though it's written 'family', do you know how complicated a family tree can go? and how far for the branches can be considered not part of the tree? we may aswell call it 'a gathering of a bunch of people you don't even know'.. for real! in 'arisan', you cud be introduced to the brother-in-law of the sister of the cousin of your grandma.. okay, that's random, but believe me, that happens (somewhere)..

for a fact, 'arisan' can have more awkward moments than any normal person (who never been to arisan, of course, duh!) ever experienced in his entire lifetime..
and appearently, if you're the host, the probability that the akward moments happened to you is much much higher..
plus, if you're the antisocial daughter of the host, the probability can be estimated to 100%..

antisocial daughter : *mojok berusaha nyamar jadi kipas angin*
host : eh, kamu disitu tho! sini, mama kenalin sama itu anak-anaknya oom x..

because you know what people do? admit it or not, when a person see another person that they don't know well, the first thing that person do is judge...
yupp.. judging other people is what we do every single second.. it's like first line of our main program is 'judge people in front of you ;', and it keeps on looping back to that instructions line...
and yeah.. that's my problem... i hate being judged by people who don't even know me...
so, because being judged is somehow inevitable, my strategy? i'll just straightly hate life instead...
but til now, can't confirm that its the most effective strategy yet...

and i kept having this dream of being in front of computer with headphones and stuffs, but not understanding a single word on the headphones... seriously, like it's a total gibberish or something...

but me being a total sucker on an official test is indeed based on facts...

1999, elementary school, 6th grade final.. i was so nervous, i transformed the computerized-answering-sheet into a sheet full of stain (and sweat)..

2004, high school, 3rd grade final.. i got unexpectedly bad score on my math test, though i am pretty good at it (by 'pretty good', you must've known my nature of self-contempt)

so, me and THE TEST had a history...
and it's not a good one..
that's why i kept having those stupid dreams...

well, actually i get the idea from someone at instructables...
(and yes, i highly recommend instructables, because you cud find some of the greatest and silliest DIY ever)
it's fairly easy if you get all the resources and a dad that'll ready to help...

[how to customize your boring stuffs]

the answer is.... STICKERS....
well, the easiest way to do it is just go somewhere and buy some non-existant-cute-sticker that match your taste....
but, of course, the keyword here is to make it custom...
so, the next easiest way is to buy a good sticker paper... (there's quite a few in most of stationary store)..
but for me, it cost too much...
what i did was i made my own sticker from a normal printing paper... yeah, a normal printing paper that you use for printing reports and whatever...
find a nice picture for the sticker, print it, and then to make it more durable, seal it with a normal transparent-tape (the widest one you can get)...
voila... you get a nice custom stickers just by adding a double-tape on the back....

this is probably easiest from the bunch,
firstly, you need to have a sweater that you buy from secondhand store at Senen which when you get home you realized that it is too big and there's no way you could ever wear it in lifetime...
so if you already got that, pay attention to the next step i'm going to tell you,
all you need to do is..... just ask your mom to sew the sweater into a bag...
haha... easy peasy lemon squeezy....

Downtown is a japanese comedy duo
Downtown members are Hamada Masatoshi (hama-chan) and Matsumoto Hitoshi (ma-chan)
Hamada is described as "S" (sadistic) while Matsumoto is the "M" (masochist)
Their two most influential shows are Hey!Hey!Hey! (a music program) and Gaki no Tsukai Ya Arahande (a comedy program)

Gaki No Tsukai Ya Arahande
its basically a comedy show with Downtown plus a few other comedians as a regulars (Cocorico duo and Yamasaki Hosei).. so there's a lot of ~~too much~~ segments involved, which i wont describe one by one because there's already wiki to do all the lame stuffs...
some of their famous segments are Silent Library (with rip-offs all around the globe), Batsu Game/Punishment Game (the best game ever invented), and The Absolutely Tasty Series (it's just pure stupid).. I bet their other segments are awesome too, but no one sub it and i don't speak japanese, so be it...

They have two type of Batsu Games, the annual No Laughing Batsu Games and the other Batsu Games (DTFS did sub one on ma-chan, and this 24-hour-tag is quite an entertainment).... About No Laughing Batsu Games, this is A-MUST-WATCH! they made one every year, and so far these are some of em that are subbed : the famous ass darts, the one at yugawara, the one in highschool, and the still-in-progress historical hospital one)

they have a solid fanbase at youtube... basically, we rely on some of the famous users that willingly upload their Gaki no Tsukai subbed videos, which is this guy, this guy, this guy, this guy, and maybe some other guys i failed to mention...
(in case you're wondering, "where's the picspam?"... yeahh.. i'm too unmotivated to do it now...)

i do hang out a lot at LiveJournal (LJ) lately...
there r 3 main reasons why i love LJ a lot...
first, is the community... they have some of the best communities ever.. (at least for the fandom i'm into)... mmm.. one thing i really like is ppl's generosity to share their medias... so, yeah.. its easy to be a total suck up leecher there if u want to... (which i don't do btw, i always comment and thank properly)
second, is the icons... i love how much icons i cud find there.... if it doesn't attract you, then maybe i have the so-called icon-fetish...
and.. last one, is the famous "LJ-cut"...(if u don't know what it is, then.. right this way..) which i don't know why, but i love it... it just really.. what's the word... hmmm.. useful? yeah.. it just simplify the page nicely.. if we want to read more we'll click under the cut, and if we don't we won't have to feel the pain of never-ending-scrolling to the next post... and it's way better than those "read more..." thingy... (yupp.. waaaaaaay better!)
that's why i dream of having it in blogger... so, i decided to try a few codes...

i love japanese dramas.. i do..
ok.. my first experience watchin japanese dramas was kimura takuya's Love Generation..
and even though i have been through many fangirl phase after kimura takuya, it couldn't gone wrong wit kimura's drama as ur first japanese drama experience..
yepp! once you go japanese drama, you just won't go back..

u know, what i love about j-dramas is the fact that it is longer than a movie, but shorter (and less draggy-er) than regular tv series,
cause sometimes even the best series cud become crappy after a few season, example no.1 : the OC (i used to love OC so much, way before all the break-ups/make-ups, murders, lesbians, and.. and.. i just lost track of what happenin in orange county)

But, before you assume j-dramas is about the same as any asian dramas (i.e. korean, chinese, taiwanese, etc), then i gotta say this to you, "IT'S DIFFERENT!"...
well, IT IS! it's "Japanese" first of all... most j-dramas (i'm not sayin all of 'em) are way more simple in story-wise, yet deeper in a way...
so, as i was sayin, j-dramas airs about 9 to 12 one-hour-episodes,
just the right amount to watch it non-stop for a day, and then re-watch it the next day (if it's that good)..
plus, there's pretty much every genre for everybody.. comedy, sport, proffesion, school, love/friendship, you name it..
last, if u're sayin asian guys was never your type, u shud at least try..
because these guys are really good in building a lovable character.. and soon u will be another fangirl just like me...

so, if u felt there's not enough drama in your life.. watch j-dramas,
cause like i said,
once you go japanese dramas, you just won't go back

first of all, for those of you who have no idea who i'm talking about, do see this fanvid, also this one, or you just better watch FNL instead... (he's not the main character though, but definitely the most adorable)
the difference between Matt Saracen character than others, is that there's nuthin extraordinary bout him, he cud be anyone around us..
typical awkwardly adorable teens...
he cudn't even talk right in front of his crush at first, and when finally she said 'yes' for a date, he stood her up to calm down his grandma wit serenading "mr.sandman"..

Why can't i focus on the most important thing i gotta do in ma life right now, which is SKRIPSI...
the fact that kuliah gw tinggal satu (which is on wednesday morning), definitely doesn't even help..
so i shud spent my wednesday getting my brain stimulated by listening to "si bapak" talkin about "modelling n simulation" right?
but no, what did i do? i doodle a whole page of A4 (bolak balik) sampe kuliah selese..
that's wednesday...
the worst is thursday.. which recently i announced as my official 'hari nyampah di kampus"...

well, yesterday i only slept for approximately an hour... then, instead of getting a chance to actually sleep, my mom n dad decided it is the day the gathering of my big (i repeat, huge) family...
lack of sleeping, and the need to socialize definitely not a great match for someone like me...
so this is what i, geniusly came up wit,

if T is the hours you spent not sleeping when you should,
N corresponds to the number of people u need to deal with,
wit N = Na + (Nk)^2, Na is the number of adult above 15, Nk is the number of kids under 15,
NS is how many times you need to generate smile to other human being,
Y is the factor that shows amount of work you need to do, even if u don't want to, vary from 1-10, 1 being least amount of work, and 10 being the amount of work as much as hell,
and X is how close you are to a descent place to sleep (in meters),
then the factor K, which shows how pissed you are, could be calculate by this formula :

K = T x (N + (10 x Ns)) x (Y / X)

in my case, K would be in a whooping amount of 5763...
i must've been VERY, VERY PISSED......

Ganti themes XP standar yang ada... pertama-tama, install patchernya dulu (gini caranya).. trus cari2lah themes yang sesuai disini.. gw lupa gw pake themes apa....
Skalian, ganti icon2 standar yang uda ada.. gini caranya... cari icon yang cuoccook de disini atau disini atau dimana kek kan ada Google inih...
Trus untuk dock diatasnya yang mac-rip-off itu, download ini deh, ObjectDock....

percaya ga percaya, tiba2 angkatan gw menunjukkan kalo kita juga bisa jadi angkatan yang full of dramas.. hahaha..

ternyata angkatan yang tadinya gw pikir adem ayem ajah, tiba2 jadi penuh konflik berliku2 gitu minggu lalu... (walaupun mungkin berliku2 bukan kata yang tepat..)
sumpah.. milis 2004 jadi tempat peperangan gitu.. hehehe..
(sebagian hati gw merasa ini menyenangkan, karena paling ga ada yg bisa gw baca saat ngebuka e-mail.. haha.. no offense lho guys...)

- pengalaman pertama gw masuk rumah sakit gara2 nyamuk siaul,
- masalah nabrak-ditabrak yang bikin duit gw tiris abis,
- tiba-tiba kuping gw jadi penyakitan,
- uas yang kacau, but weirdfully ternyata hasilnya memuaskan,
- macem2lah pokoknya...

Pokoknya, i'm baaaack...
liburan panjang bentar lagi..
hmpppff.. sayangnya masi ada KP..
tanya ke gue, 'apakah KP lo menyenangkan?'
dan gw akan bilang ke elo, 'najis!!'
dan pas lo tanya balik ke gue, 'mang lo ngapain aja las?'

tapi... semenjak KP ini gw mulai mikir panjang ke depan lho...

setelah gw cari-cari, gw menemukan ada program master di beberapa universitas yang judulnya Entertainment Engineering itu...
GOD.. tertarik banget gw...
belajar mulai dari animation, game design, special effects sampe robotics...
gw banget...
Sekarang gw uda bisa mulai ngebayangin masa depan gw..
somewhere (munkin di SF, kota yang menurut gw auranya 'geek' banget), gw bakal kerja di suatu perusahaan entertainment (disney, pixar, dreamworks, anywhere..), doing something creative but still as an engineer...
that's a dream to start...!!!!

Jadi, setelah gw menghabiskan masa muda gw dengan menontn X-Files, which was the only primetime show at that time that revolves around conspiracy theory, gw menjadi orang yang sangat conspiracy oriented..

emang yah, manusia itu suka banget mikir yang jauh2... manusia suka banget mikir beyond their own capability..

trus kalo misalnya manusia dihadapkan sama kenyataan yang udah right in front of their nose, they kept on looking for something less obvious.. bego kan??

akhirnya selese juga niy masa2 UTS yang menyebalkan...

as u can see, in celebrating my freedom from all the UTS madness, i did a makeover to my blog...
it's not finished yet, but this is pretty much the whole idea....

sebenernya si, this is not how i want the design to look in the first place..
kmaren2 tu gw pengennya gambar background beserta link 'home' yang diatas itu gak bergerak atau kalo bahasa html-nya fixed div....
dan gw baru tau kalo mr. Internet Explorer couldn't understand a fixed div.. instead, IE wud recognize it as some usual div... aaarggghhhh....
this is stupid...
jadi kmaren tu gw uda lumayan jauh nge-design page yg berbentuk kaya gitu tadi pake browser gw yang biasa, which is si 'rubah api' yg terpercaya... eee ternyata.... setelah gw berinisiatif untuk buka di IE, lha kok ndak bisa ya.... brantakan....
dan ternyata menurut orang-orang yang gw temuin lewat google, IE emang ga bisa pake fixed div kecuali kalo pake some sort of script.... ahhh males banget....
ya sudah akhirnya design-nya berakhir seperti ini de....
walaupun gw blum nyoba si di browser2 yang lain... finger crossed...
yahh.. tapi menyenangkan siy ngutak-ngatik blog.....
salah satu cara refreshing yang paling ampuh bwat gw...

gara-gara lagi download Teddy Geiger niy.. (ga rela matiinnya, soalnya tinggal 2 jam lagi..)

gila2an banget de kayaknya kuliah hari gini...
smester ini kuliah pagi smua.. (kecuali senen siy.. ahh gila, gw bersyukur ga ikutan nyodok DSP.. dan gw cuman bisa tertawa bahagia ngeliat temen2 gw yg ikut kuliahny pa Dadang.. hehe..)
uda gitu semua tugas2 kumpulnya pagi gitu... alhasil tak adalah istilah 'nyalin' tugas orang... (hal yg sealu gw lakukan dari entah kapan, gw uda ga inget lagi)
terpaksa gw ngerjain tugasny sendiri, atau pilihan lain ya... dateng ke kampus pagi-pagi bgt.. (yg sygnya ga pernah berhasil gw lakukan)
trus beberapa minggu yg lalu i got my hands full wit praktikum2an...
sbulan jo, gw kaga nyentuh blog2 gw... kangen si.. tapi kyknya energi gw bener2 masi abis ajah..
skarang LPJ2an.. ahhh...
dari tadi malem gw uda eneg bgt nyari bahan bwat LPJ modul motor induksi.. (ampe gw merelakan rutinitas gw di hari Minggu unuk melewatkan satu jam di dpan TV ngeliatin Ami James)
"motor induksi sbg tranformator universal".. apaan si??
ahh.. gw uda mati gaya ngetik keyword di google..
padahal yahh, gw punya prinsip 'if u can't find it on google, u won't find it anywhere in this entire galaxy'..
ternyata gw dikecewakan sama my dearest friend, Google...
uda gitu selain bikin paper, pake bikin presentasiny segala lagi... aduh.. modul sapa si niy...

Dari sahur (karena gw eneg nyari bahan) gw standby trus dpan tv nonton acara2 ga jelas, karena otak gw butuh pembodohan diri sdikit...
cukup membantu si dengan nonton sgala macem infotainment (sperti GoSpot, Kiss, WasWas, Insert, dan sebangsanya itu.. gw ampe lost track) dan acara masak yg jadi acara ksukaan gw kalo lagi puasa (dari Jamie Oliver ampe Ibu Siska di Indosiar)...
stelah mengumpulkan niat untuk berdiri dari sofa, akhirnya gw berencana bwat mandi...
tapi setela ngambil baju di kamar, tampaknya kamar mandi sudah terisi oleh entah siapa.. dan kalo gw nonton lagi ntar kaga bisa bdiri lagi... akhirnya gw memutuskan untuk nerusin bikin tugas LPJ yg tadi itu..
Barusan si rencanany mau nyari format IEEE di komputer kakak gw, tapi entah mengapa yang gw klik bukan icon 'my documents', tapi icon 'rubah api' ini...
n finally i'm here...

ahhh.... gw butuh break niy.... 6 days in counting mnuju libur lebaran..
god... i need a time machine...
walaupun gw cukup tertolong oleh kakak gw yang selalu men-download-kan vitamin berbentuk hiburan2 yg amat sangat gw butuhin...

the day started off quite nice actually..
in the morning, gw jalan k mangga dua bwat membeli kperluan yg ga perlulah disebutin disini..
got what i need, then head home, had my lunch, n took off again to depok dengan hanya uang 10000 rupiah.....
sbenernya si males banget jalan di siang hari yg panasnya amit2 gitu, tapi apa mau dikata, berhubung gw uda tlanjur janji ama anak2 humas bwat ngebenerin mading elektro.....
bgitu sampe di stasiun, gw sangat tertolong oleh kdatangan abang2 masinis 'semi ekspres' (beserta kretanya, tentunya) tepat pas gw menginjakkan kaki di peron 1...
the trip cost me 6000 rupiah.. jadi 10000-6000= 4000 rupiah... bodo ahh, yg penting ga kpanasan...
Gw optimis, mudah2an the rest of the day'll be fine.. karena biasanya if u start anything wit great feeling, everything ahead gonna be great too...
at least that's the theory i've been believin since years...
tapi sayangnya tepat sebelum stasiun Lenteng Agung, gw harus menerima kalo slama ini gw salah banget pcaya ama teori dangkal kaya begituan, karena tiba-tiba kreta yg harusnya 'semi ekspres' tiba-tiba ga menunjukkan niatnya untuk terus jalan dengan kecepatan semi-ekspres-nya sperti biasa...
dan kereta 'semi-ekspress' ini akhirnya bener2 berhenti pas di stasiun Lenteng Agung...
trus speakernya bunyi :
"kami memohon maaf karena gangguannya, kereta ini harus berhenti sementara dikarenakan pada kereta di depan terjadi kemogokan. Kemogokan akan segera diatasi, dan sebentar lagi kereta bisa berjalan seperti biasa"...
yang kalo diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa ke-kereta-api-an Jabotabek, kira-kira kalimat tadi menjadi seperti berikut :
"maaf atas gangguannya, sebaiknya anda mencari alternatif transportasi lain. Kereta ini harus berhenti dalam waktu yang tak dapat diperkirakan, karena kereta di depan terjadi kemogokan yang mungkin akan diatasi oleh staf2 kami yang lambat"

Dan gw ga mau cari transportasi yg lain cuma buat buang2 duit gw yg 6000 tadi, trus ngeluarin 1500 lagi bwat naik angkot ke UI... dan kalo gw naik angkot brarti sesuai dgn matematika sederhana, duit gw tinggal 2500, dan itu sama skali ga cukup untuk pulang tanpa perasaan deg2an ga nyampe ruma...
akhirny gw pikir "whatever! i'll wait.."
gw juga ga buru2 amat siy.. lagipula gara2-kreta-excuse is always a great excuse...
so i wait...
dan pcaya ga siy, dari hari-hari yg ada, knapa juga gw milih hari ini untuk ninggalin Zen Vision gw dirumah...
jadi gw nunggu, bukan sambil dengering musik, bukan sambil nonton apaan kek gitu, bukan sambil dengerin radio, tapi sambil cengo'...

he's a 30-years-old Japanese actor, which originally wanna be a director and applied to Fresno, California State University, but then the application got messed up n he ended up studying acting there... (thank god!)
his first debut was acting as the Kamen Rider in Kamen Rider Kuuga.. (disini dy masi culun bgt de..)
trus dy uda maen beberapa dorama dan banyak well-criticized movies sampe sekarang..
now he already proved himself to be one of Japan's rising movie star according to those critics (n me)..
ada ya orang seganteng dy... ahhhh...

what i've learned about TEEN FLICK

hmmm.. teen flick....
iya film2 sebangsanya film2nya si Lindsay Lohan, Hillary Duff, Freddie Prinze, Chad Michael Murray, dan berbagai macam "teen star" lainnya...
ga ngerti knapa, kadang2 gw suka ngidam nonton film2 bginian... (embarassing.. i know! screw you!)
i don know why i like it...
well, maybe the shallowness..
or maybe i am just freakin lame... haha...
stela bertahun2 nonton film2 beginian (dan brasa ga perna dapat apapun yang berguna), sekarang gw bisa menyimpulkan "the stereotype of typical TEEN FLICKS"... which are :

the leading role (yg biasanya cewe) started out with no boyfriend/girlfriend or some jerkass boyfriend/girlfriend...
the jerkass boyfriend/girlfriend will eventually get dumped..
the cool guy/girl always had a bunch of stupid entourage...
there's some point in the movie where the cast look like they're having a great meaningless fun.. yang ditunjukkan dengan adegan yang ganti2 dengan cepat (dimana di dalamnya berkesan "such a happy moments"), trus backsound-nya itu biasanya lagu2 upbeat... Tau kan?! misalnya pas si pemerannya lagi makeover, atau lagi belanja2, atau lagi ngapain gitu...
the drama always involving (any kind) of lies...
there's always a girl that act like a bitch (which is always too exaggerating).. and the bitch usually look much better than the leading role..
between the leading role and the love interest always had some kind of misunderstanding near to the end.. (tapi slalu terpecahkan akhirnya, dengan salah satu pemerannya 'sadar')
every good guys always weirdfully got someone in the end.. and it's all happy for everybody...
the movie always end with a kissing scene.... (yepp!!! always)

Bajaj vs Mikrolet

sebenernya ini kejadian uda agak lama...
jadi waktu itu, kan gw mo ke kampus naek kreta..
biasanya bokap gw nganterin sampe stasiun tebet kan, cuma gara-gara dy ga bisa jadi terpaksa gw naek bajaj ke stasiun tebet..
trus gw jalan ke pangkalan bajaj di depan rumah gw..
disitu terpilihlah seorang tukang bajaj yang kayaknya gencar banget menawarkan diri (heh?!)...
abisnya, wlaupun gw blum ngasi tanda2 kalo gw pengen naek bajaj, dy dengan semangatnya tiba2 langsung bdiri trus menawarkan diri (heh?! lagi..)...
pas ptama liat, ini tukang bajaj tampangnya kagak kaya tukang bajaj sebenernya...
abis kacamatanya tebel bener.. uda kaya geek2 yang di tipi2... (no offense loh bang!)
yahh.. akhirnya gw naek setelah penawaran yang cukup alot... (berlebihan ya? gw selalu pengen pake kata ini.. abis kalo di acara brita kesannya gmana gitu...)
dan stelah tu bajaj mulai jalan.. gw baru tau knapa ni tukang bajaj kacamatanya tebel banget...
lo bayangin aja.. setiap ada cewe yang lagi jalan di pinggir jalan, mas tukang bajajnya ini ngeliatin ampe khidmat banget....
cape deh....
gw, sebagai penumpang.. ya jelas was-was lah... meleng mulu niy abang....
bgitu uda sampe di depan stasiun tebet, jelas gw siap2 keluar dong...
tapi trus si abang tukang bajaj ini sekali lagi ngeliatin seorang cewe yang lagi jalan di pinggir kali sebelah kanan...
karena gw ga punya interest untuk ngeliatin cewe (ya jelas), jadi gw ngliat ke sebelah kiri siap2 bwat kluar dong...
dan ternyata d sebelah kiri bajaj ada suatu mikrolet yang tadinya lagi parkir trus ada tanda2 mengeluarkan moncongnya..
trus reflek gw liat abang tukang bajajnya yang kayaknya ga ada rencana dalam waktu deket bwat berenti ngasi jalan bwat si mikrolet...
bgitu mulut gw mo kbuka... JDDUARRR!!!
telatlah sudah...

trus.. langsung abang mikroletnya ngeluarin kepala dan tangannya yang berotot ke jendela mikrolet yang uda lecet abis gitu.. trus melotot ke abang bajaj gw... Jelas diliat dari tampang, abang bajaj gw (yang tampangnya kaya geek tadi) uda kalah jauh garangnya dari si abang mikrolet yang baru keluar ini... jadi gw brasa terintimidasi sdikit..
Sayangnya acara pelotot2an ini berlangsung gak cuma 1 atau 2 detik aja...
(gw brasa kaya lagi di sinetron.. misalnya pas pemeran antagonisnya lagi plotot2an sama pmeran protagonisnya.. cuman kurang sound effect petir aja.. )
pas adegan plotot2an itu, gw denger dari jauh..
"1 dari utara, ekonomi tujuan bogor.. awas... 1 dari utara..."
gw sharusnya naek tu kreta kalo mo ga telat..
tapi gw jelas ga bisa kluar, karena pintu bajaj yang letaknya di sbela kiri uda kepepet sama si mikrolet...
akhirnya gw mencoba memecah keheningan...
"bang.."
tapi saking seriusnya abang2 ini plotot2an, gw dicuekin...
"bang..!!"
tetep dicuekin..
"BANG!!"
masih dicuekin..
tiba-tiba kedengeran dari jauh...
"gejess-gejes-gejess... gejess-gejes-gejess..." (maksudnya suara kereta udah jalan)

Creative Zen Vision...
this is something that I've been craving for the longest time...
(exaggerating... as always)
well, ok.. it's not entirely "MY" Zen Vision...
yahh.. patungan lahh sama kakak gw...
tapi, karena kakak gw ga bakal baca blog ini juga, jadi untuk selanjutnya let's just say that this Zen Vision is entirely mine....

jadi setelah.. melihat dan menilik berbagai macam review yang ada di luar sana tentang portable media player... akhirnya gw memilih untuk stay loyal to a company named Creative...
dari jaman awal2 muncul yang namanya MP3 player, emang gw kayaknya uda amat sangat tertarik dengan produk2nya creative, yang walaupun dari segi desain gak se-"keren" the famous--Ipod, tapi feature-nya sangat memuaskan...
Before, i got the early generation of Creative Muvo ( a USB MP3 Player) sekitar taon 2003-an...
trus gw beli Creative Zen Micro taon lalu...
sekarang.. jadilah gw beli Creative Zen Vision ini...

Apalagi melihat ternyata Creative tu lagi diskon gede-gedean di Singapore...
Lumayan jauh lah sama yang dijual di Indonesia... beda sekitar 70 dollar-an (USD)......
Cuman sebenernya kemaren, waktu beli, ada beberapa hal yang bikin gw lumayan kecewa...
pertama-tama gara-gara ternyata barang pertama yang gw pegang itu LCD-nya ada yang mati pixelnya...
Untung mba-mba dan mas-mas di "Creative Store"-nya itu lumayan cooperative, dan langsung digantilah itu barang dengan yang baru...
Trus begitu Zen Vision ini sudah sampai rumah dengan selamat.. Begitu selesai di-charge, masa sound-nya ga mau keluar... alhasil, gw uda kepengen nangis aja tu... karena sodara-sodara, walaupun emang garansi siy, cuman sayangnya garansi-nya ya garansi Singapore....
Setelah cukup frustrasi beberapa waktu.. akhirnya suara-nya mulai keluar.... Dan keliatannya siy problemnya di firmware-nya... (Untungnya kalo masalah di firmware, si Creative ini mensupport dengan menyediakan firmware di website-nya dia.. jadi tinggal di- reinstall ajah...)
tapi sekarang, tetep aja gw masi deg-degan takut2 masalahnya ternyta di hardwarenya....

Still, gw seneng banget can get my hands on this thing...
yang paling penting siy sekarang gw bisa nonton film2 gw dmana aja....
tapi, sebenernya kalo ditanya perlu ga siy gw barang beginian? Yaaa... jawabannya bisa jadi : "ga perlu2 amat.."
tapi kenapa juga ya akhirnya gw beli...
'gatel' doang siy emang....

i hate Tuesday.. i really do..
i got a class later on 1 pm.. this mean i have to go at the hottest time of the day using this transportation:

yepp! the soundtrack of Curious George...
the album is pretty cool (as always)....
although the lyrics r intended for younger listener, but it's just so cute in some way...
very well suited for a movie like Curious George..
n fyi, it's still got the dreamy tunes quality that'll get you soo relax...

done posting, n now it's still 9:57 am, n (as expectedly)..
what shu'd i do now? there's still another hour until i really have to go shower...
basically i've done nuthin.. (except doing this post n playing dofus for a while)

all this years, i always questioned people who got really addicted to an online game...?
why people let themselves be consume by it?
but.. now i know...
i blame an mmorpg called DOFUS for this...
it's a really cool game to play... what i like the most is the amazing graphic (although still in 2d, they have really cool graphic for the characters)...
see?
the coolest thing (for me, anyway) is the various job we could master in this game...
u cud be a fisherman, fishmonger, farmer, alchemist, breadmaker,...
it's interesting enough for me to stick in front of my computer for hours......
u don't have to download anythin as huge as some of the mmorpg out there to play...
n beside that, what i heard, the subscription fee is not too expensive.. reasonable, i guess...
i, myself, am not a subscriber... but as a non-paying characters, i still enjoy the experience...
of course it has boundaries for the non-paying players....
but who cares... i still cud play anyway...
(even the fact that i only cud play in one town... it's fine enough for me... so, why bother paying?)

but the drawback about this whole mmorpg stuffs, is the fact that you cud met a jerk-ass, who sometimes i wanna kill so bad... but the problem is the jerk's level is way higher than me...
so all i can do is just talk trash--n then the jerk kill me--end of story...
hahaha... stinks...

i can't access blogger.com for days... since saturday i guess...

voila... the 1st week of semester holiday....
(still 5 more weeks to go... yippiiiie...)
On the next day after my last final test, i ordered some japanese movie n dorama from DoramaLover.. (like i've already planned on doing... basically, since the semester start.... hahaha...)
And, finally the package that i ordered came on Saturday... (huhu.. thank god!! saved my day... arigatou doramalover!!!)
since then, i've been kinda hooked up in front of tv...

as you know, i rarely buy or watch dorama other than Takuya Kimura's dorama.. (for many reasons.. other that kimutaku himself...)
but, because i technically already watched every single Takuya Kimura's dorama that DoramaLover has to offer, so this time i try to order a dorama called Orange Days....
Seeing all the reviews, actually i'm kinda hyped out to see this dorama...
So i spent my entire Saturday to watch this dorama...
Finish it... and i turned out to love it!!!!
i even would give this dorama a no.2 spot on my all time favorite dorama (after Beautiful Life, of course)...
What's really cool about it is how the story not only revolves around romatic stuffs, but also friendship between nearly graduate college students...
But the romantic stuffs isn't too bad at all!!!!
Maybe Orange Days have quite a resemblences wit Beautiful Life (u know, a love story between a normal guy n a handicapped girl), it's quite likely because the two doramas r created by the same writer... (ooohhh..)
And the other thing that i really love is the casts!!!!!!!
Satoshi Tsumabuki and Kou Shibasaki... Love em both (especially Satoshi Tsumabuki!!!!)

next, i watched Waterboys the movie...
i know that this is not a new movie, but i haven't watched it yet...
i kinda hesitated too watch a japanese movies, because sometimes it's just too weird n too difficult to understand...
but seeing the synopsis, seemed to be a fun movie...
and.. yes!!! it's definitely a damn funny movie...
it's simple, but so funny n creative...
just imagine an all boys synchronized swimming team in an all boys high school....
the character r just hilarious....
My favorite thing is definitely the main character in the movie, the only student in the not-so-popular swimming team, Suzuki...
And guess who played Suzuki! it's Satoshi Tsumabuki!!!
when i ordered Waterboys and Orange Days, i didn't realized that both got Satoshi Tsumabuki in it... But i don't mind....
(just give me anyone as cute as Satoshi Tsumabuki anytime, i won't complain!!!)

so thanks to those two movies n dorama, i just can't get enough of Satoshi Tsumabuki......

yes, i watch the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire just last Saturday..
why i watched it on the weekend (when all the kids r to let loose)? i don't know...
well all i'm going to say is cinema + kids + excitement just don't mix...
i don't know if all those kids r getting excited over the movie (which is so not suitable for young kids who just wont understand a thing) or maybe they just had too much sugar on their sytem...
i believe it's the sugar...

about the movie itself, it is obviously lacking in a lot of things... (cinematography, spesial fx, storyline, do i have to name it all?)

not pleasant huh...
still fasting up until the end of Ramadhan (which ends tommorow... hurrrayyyy!!!! lebaran sebentar lagi...)
all those reports r making me sick... i have 3 reports that need to be done before next week... and i haven't even started a bit... all i've done is copying the experiment data for the 1st report (translation: there r still a lot of things to do!! i mean A LOT!!!)
n to make matters worse... FOX has delayed some of their shows until the beginning of this month... so no Arrested Develeopment n no O.C. ... shit!!!
Thank god Everybody Hates Chris still running.... this show turns out to be great....

In spite of all my unfortunate, i've been so occupied by this cool game called Jamie Kane...
Jamie Kane is a ARG (Alternate Reality Game) about the death of a super famous singer, Jamie Kane..
it's really interactive but creepy in some ways...
they have characters that seems so real.. we can chat wit em or they can even call us... yes, call us!! automated call it is.. but still, really creepy... (i didn't do the call, because i'm here in Indonesia.. d'oh?! but it turned out one of the character did the call instead..)
everyday, one of the character will contact us via e-mail.. n then we have to do whatever needed to be done that day as instructed by one of the character...
if we've done the task completely, all we have to do is wait for 24 hours til the next task given to u... do this for 15 days until u solved the mystery of Jamie Kane's death...
me, in the meanwhile, is on the 8th day... so it's getting more exciting... n I started to get more suspicious for one of the character... (yihaaa.. don't wanna spoil the fun!)

mmm... whoooopss... it's already 9 pm huh?! i'm done here... signing off.. i'm going to watch House....
yeayyy House!!!! I love dr.House.....

the story is quite simple...
it's about li'l chris growing up as the eldest of three living in brooklyn in early 80's..
unfortunately, at school he always get bullied, n at home his siblings r always there to get him in trouble...
the comedy in it are typical Chris Rock's...
mm, what i like the most from this show is how Chris Rock narrates...
(yeah, of course!!!! he's a comedian for god's sake)
overall it's funny, but bit too short huh?

i really need to watch movies... any movies actually..
the video renting where i used to rent is already closed....
(yesterday, i went there, determined to rent some movies that i've missedon theaters.. but suddenly when i arrived there the place was already empty n there was a sign hanging on the door : "FOR RENT".. one word came from my mouth right that second: "piece of shit!!!")
OK, there's no movies to rent (i can deal wit that).. So i was thinkin to go to theaters...
but, then again i'm totally dissappointed...
i find NO MOVIES that are playing got my interest...... again, shit....

i just noticed that the couple in it r Jamie Bell (from 'Billy Elliot') and Evan Rachel Wood (from 'Thirteen')...
wooowww!!
the video is about a couple (Jamie n Evan), which is potrayed as a happy couple..
n then they went into a big fight because Jamie has applied to join the army...
(yeah, the idea seems a lot like the NERD's "provider" clip..)
but i like this Green Day's version better..
(definitely because there's Jamie Bell in it!!!!)
on this video there's also a dialogue scene, which is quite cool!!
n the full version of the video is actually 7 minutes, n i guess 7 minutes is bit too long for a music video huh..?

i really love the idea of human cloning, but Bay made it into 'just another action movies'...
being a Bay film, The Island involved plenty of explosions and high-speed chases...

CRASHERS in a crash quality..

don't get me wrong...
i don't mean 'Wedding Crasher' has a crash quality..
what i'm talking about is the fact that i watched this movie in a low quality pirated DVD..
I bought the DVD just because I was really curious bout the movie...
(they don't/haven't screen it on Indonesia...)
common, it's Vince Vaughn n Owen Wilson in a raunchy comedy.. what could've went wrong huh??
but the fact that I'm watching it wit a blurry image, horrible audio, n some shadows of people passing by on the recording are just annoying....

despite all the inconvinience I got, I managed to watced the movie entirely (at least, I think so..)
Wilson n Vaughn r just cool... (of course they are!!!)
but the storyline is just too typical...
I'm quite dissapointed..

(this post contains spoiler about Harry Potter 6.. so if u haven't read the book, maybe it's best for u to browse my other posts)

i just finished reading Harry Potter 6 for the 2nd time...
n i managed to scrap up a few evidences to present some theories (about the "Snape's loyalty" stuffs):

from the first book, Rowling always have a twisted endings, that always not like what's it look like from the beginning.. (exp: sirius-is-not-evil ending, moody-turned-out-to-be-crouch ending, etc).. But in this book, it's clear that Rowling tryin to make us think that Snape is evil from the beginning (2nd chapter)... So, i believe that, infact Snape's loyalty is always on Dumbledore (i believe it'll be proven on the final book)....
I always trust Dumbledore's judgement (he never make a false judgement, right?).. So when Dumbledore said that he trusts Snape wit his own life, I believe it!!!!
On the scene where Snape joined all the Death-Eaters , just before he kill Dumbledore... There's a quite long silence, which I believe there r some non-verbal words goin on between Dumbledore n Snape (Snape use Legilimency, right?)... I believe, Dumbledore has asked Snape to kill him.. n then Snape hesitated because he don't want to kill Dumbledore (Snape shows a great dislike in his face before killing him, right?)... then Dumbledore said "Severus, please..." ("please kill me," he mean)... Haha!!!
I believe Dumbledore asked Snape to kill him, because maybe he thinks he couldn't make it after all.. (Dumbledore is already weak since fightin Voldemort the previous year).. So why don't take a li'l bit of advantages from it?? By killing Dumbledore Snape can earn Voldemort trust.. In the other side, I also have a different theory.. it's possible that Dumbledore don't want Snape to break 'the unbreakable vow' Snape has made wit Narcissa.. (Snape promised Narcissa that he'll carry out the deed that Voldemort has ordered Malfoy.. killing Dumbledore, it is)
When Harry ran after Snape, Snape only block Harry's jinxes... When he said Harry belongs to Voldemort, why don't he take Harry to Voldemort instead?

yeah, i watched them on Desperate Housewives, watched them on Cheaper by the Dozen, n i even seen them on Jay Leno (a long time ago..)
but it's just know that I realized how cute these two kids!!! (after wachting Cheper by the Dozen for the 2nd time, yesterday)
in fact, when i sat in front of my computer earlier, i google the word 'kinsman twins'...
i don't know what gotten into me...

baju = kaos distro/polo shirt (di-dobel-dobel)
(trus yg kayaknya lg hot tu cowok2 pk baju shocking-pink.. whats up wit that?)
clana = girls: low rider ktat+belt; guys: lurus ga jelas+belt
spatu = converse2an ga jlas
aksesoris = rubber band (ya ampun... di glodok aja ada tiruannya....)

gw ga mau seenaknya nge-judge orang siy cuman gw ga ngerti de, knapa mereka tu slalu musti ngikutin stereotype yg ada di skitar mreka???

I just got this album.. so I thought I'll say some'n in ma blog......

FOO FIGHTERS 'In Your Honour'

an album that I've been waitin for so long... (u've no idea!)
this album is quite cool by the way...
it's consist of 2 CD (i.e. lots of songs to listen..)
they combined slow and hard rockin in this album... (both wit Foo Fighters style!!)
but me personally, being one the biggest fans of foo fighters from the start, am not quite impressed by this album...
OK, it's amazing to hear them play hard rockin..
and it's breathtaking to hear DAVE GROHL sings those slow songs.... (there's just som'n bout his voice... luv him)
but I have to say that I still like 'The Colour and The Shape' better.. (it gave me chills 1st time I listen)
overall : 'i heart DAVE GROHL'

if u're tryin to download the series from the web (spesifically wit Torrents..)
u cu'd try D-addicts which is one of the best torrent-tracker out there for asian dramas...
they got this forum, so u cu'd find some inside-scoops there...
n, the best thing bout this torrent-tracker, they keep us informed by giving a full information bout their torrents file.....
btw, most of the torrents on the site is already subbed, whether it's chinese or english...
actually D-addicts is not the only Dorama torrent-tracker out there...
u cu'd also try Japan-tv.....

but, if u cudn't handle waitin too long (there r very few seeds out there for most of the torrents), n willing to spend a bit, u cu'd try buying online...
If u can't understand chinese n live in Indonesia, I recommend DoramaLover for u...
it's the best place for Indonesian dorama online store...
their doramas r mostly malay or english subbed....
